This multi-disciplinary performance incorporating dance, environmental projections of text, contemporary musical composition, and theatrical characterizations was presented at night in a former city jail. The performance explored themes of regimentation, self-repression and the dichotomy of Prison as Home/ Home as Prison, deconstructing the sensory Musak of pop culture to reveal the DNA of our individual and collective desires. Texts appropriated from pop cultural sources were projected within performance spaces and upon the performers' bodies.
