Subway Terminal Building
Los Angeles, California

This multi-disciplinary performance incorporating dance, environmental projections of text, contemporary musical composition, and theatrical characterizations was presented underground in an abandoned transit terminal and subway tunnel. Underscoring the underlying themes of transformation and mortality, text projections were juxtaposed within the performance spaces, appropriating the languages of personal commitment and transportation scheduling and security. At the culmination of the performance, texts were projected upon the enclosing surface of the subway tunnel.
